THE MOSS HOTEL

As a hypothetical client, OLOL and Mary Bird Perkins wanted to renovate and repurpose the 3rd floor of the OLOL Regional Medical Center into a world class free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers. The Moss Hotel serves as a place of respite, comfort, and healing for cancer patients in the Baton Rouge area. The name originates from how moss as a plant exists in the ecosystem and its role in its environment.
